Our raw materials - Fur & Cashmere
Our collections are characterised by luxury, natural, organic and biodegradable materials. We mainly work with 100% cashmere, high quality merino wool and fur. We consciously decided to use durable materials that will last for decades. They can be restyled and recycled instead of synthetic alternatives. We make sure to only work with nomadic herders and farmers who take good care of their goats. All yarn Constance The Label uses is OEKO-TEX® certified. This means we meet the standards in regards of harmful substances for our products and manufacturers. We have high human ecology requirements.
Our packaging
Bye Plastic! To bring forth our commitment to creating and producing sustainability, we ensure an eco-friendly, platsic-free packaging, made in FSC certified paper coming from certified forests and produced in Belgium. The forest is being managed in a way that preserves biological diversity and benefits the lives of local people. The composition of our labels are made with recycled materials.
Achieved goals
During 2021 one of our goals was to release a collection made of 100% uncolored cashmere. We made a mini-collection where the items were made in 100% uncolored cashmere. We also transported our AW21 collection by train from China to Belgium. This was also one of our goals, as freight by train is a much more sustainable option.
